VetsForever CEO Selected for Prestigious IVMF CEOcircle 2026 Cohort

We’re thrilled to share that our CEO, Trinidad Aguirre, has been selected for the Syracuse University’s D’Aniello Institute for Veteran & Military Families (IVMF) CEOcircle program, sponsored by JPMorgan Chase.

CEOcircle is a competitive, year-long program designed to support and elevate veteran and military spouse entrepreneurs. Trinidad will join a powerful group of leaders from across the country to engage in shared learning, tackle key business challenges, and accelerate the impact of veteran-led businesses.

“Through our research at the IVMF, we know that a strong network of support is paramount for veteran entrepreneurs,” says Misty Fox, IVMF’s Director of Entrepreneurship and Small Business programs.

“CEOcircle offers veteran entrepreneurs an incredible opportunity to meet, speak with, and network with other success-driven veterans in the entrepreneurship ecosystem, and we’re looking forward to the pending success these veterans will have in scaling their businesses after they’ve graduated.”

Congratulations, Trinidad! We’re excited for the year ahead and proud to see VetsForever represented in this outstanding community.

VetsForever Services Continue During Government Shutdown

VetsForever remains committed to supporting veterans during the government shutdown. Here are answers to frequently asked questions about the impact on veterans and their families based on previous shutdowns.

  • VA Disability Compensation: Payments to veterans continue uninterrupted because they are considered mandatory spending.
  • Claims and Ratings: Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) continues operating using carryover resources, so VA benefits will continue to be processed and delivered, including compensation, pension, education, and housing benefits. Historically, veterans have experienced slower timelines for appeals, evidence reviews, and new decisions.
  • VBMS Access: Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS) stays online, and accredited representatives can continue to access and submit claims. However, processing depends on available VA staff, so documents may take longer to move through the system during a shutdown.

Bottom Line: Veterans can expect their compensation payments to continue. Claims and ratings remain active, though processing may slow if the shutdown extends. VetsForever will continue assisting veterans in navigating the claims process and keeping veterans and their families informed throughout the shutdown.
