Role: Veterans Claim Advocate

As a VF Advocate, you’ll navigate veterans and their families through the VA claims process, from intake to filing. You’ll work under the supervision of VA-accredited representatives who review and stand behind every claim.

YOUR MISSION
- Run intake assessments with veterans and dependents
- Prepare and file initial VA benefit claims
- Keep clients in the loop by phone, email, and text
- Organize supporting documents and keep case notes in the CRM
- Protect client privacy under the Privacy Act
- Stay current on VA regulations
- Join community outreach when asked

Nice to have, not required: military service or military family experience, VA claims knowledge, CRM or case management software experience, an associate degree or higher.

Is this remote?
Yes. Fully remote. You work from your own home office.
Is this a W-2 job or contract work?
This is an independent contractor (1099) role.
Do I need to be a veteran?
No. Military service or military family experience is a plus, not a requirement.
Do I need to be VA-accredited to apply?
No. VF Advocates work under VA-accredited representatives, who supervise and sign off on the claims work. We’ll train you on the process.
Do I need VA claims experience?
No. It’s preferred, and we train every advocate on how we work.
