Driving Change for Student Veterans
Our CEO Trinidad Aguirre moderated a veteran mental health panel at the 2026 CCME Conference alongside national experts featuring Wendy Lasko of Columbia Lighthouse Project, Tina Atherall of PsychArmor, Dr. Elisa Borah of the University of Texas at Austin, and Charles Bischoff of NextOp Veterans.
The conversation focused on how better mental health support for student veterans drives real outcomes for veterans and higher education alike.
Travis Manion Foundation 9/11 HEROES RUN
VetsForever supported the Travis Manion Foundation’s 9/11 Heroes Run, honoring the first responders who gave their lives on September 11, 2001, and the service members who answered the call in the wars that followed. Across 100+ communities nationwide, runners, walkers, ruckers, and volunteers unite to ensure we never forget their sacrifice. We salute all participants carrying forward this mission.
Jacksonville CPO Pride Day
VetsForever was proud to connect with Chiefs and Veterans during Jacksonville CPO Pride Day. Our Chief Operations Officer, Chris Ward, mentored Chief Selects joining the Chiefs Mess. We also had the honor of speaking with former MCPON Rick West. From sharing VA advocacy tips to celebrating the incredible service of our Navy community, the energy was unmatched.
Memorial Day 2025
Over Memorial Day weekend, the VetsForever team honored our nation’s heroes by partnering with community organizations. We participated in the Travis Manion Foundation's Honor Project at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, placing hand-crafted tokens at the gravesites of fallen heroes. We also joined Carry The Load for the Dallas Memorial Walk with partners like Equest, One Tribe Foundation, Dallas Fire Department, and NextOp Veterans. A powerful reminder of the importance of remembrance and community.

Throughout May which is Military Appreciation Month, the VetsForever team proudly joined forces with amazing community partners and veteran organizations to pay tribute to our brave service members and veterans. Together, we can make a difference!
